We were oh so happy to be included in the most recent issue of Martha Stewart Weddings. They asked us to create a shower invitation for a correspondence-themed shower, so I put together this fun little invitation suite. (We are on page 404, alongside some other awesome stationers.)
We are currently hiring a studio assistant! This is a part-time position at our farmhouse letterpress studio in Audubon, Iowa. This lucky person will be trained as a letterpress apprentice while taking on various tasks such ordering, packaging and paper-cutting. For a more detailed job listing, email us at info@moglea.com.
Happy Holidays everyone! This is a peak at the holiday cards we sent to our lovely clients and stores this holiday season. The cards were hand-lettered and letterpress printed in neon inks. The envelopes were edged in a bright neon red, and Alissa at Feast Calligraphy did an amazing job with envelope calligraphy.
I also just want to thank everyone who reads this little blog for their loving support this past year. It’s your comments of encouragement that make every day a good one at Moglea.
Another birth announcement to share! This was hand-lettered in white, light blue and cobalt and finished with a sweet little felt bowtie for baby Jackson. We even did some custom thank you cards for little Jackson, which I think is a great idea to include with every birth announcement. We know now from experience, as parents have lots of friends and family to thank after your little one(s) arrive.
These are just some birth announcements that I completed recently for baby Stella. Stella’s family hosted a “Stellabration” for her so that everyone could bring her gifts and meet her, so I designed a floral party invite to match her announcement. This was an extremely fun suite to produce, and was complete with two of my favorite colors, coral and mint.
I don’t usually post much personal news here, but I wanted to share our new additions with you: Shepard & Ev. We LOVE them! (Picture compliments of Libby Asay Studio.)

Here is part of my holiday collection for Minted this year. (Lots of hand-lettering and joy-filled illustration goodness!) My Line & Dot design was hand selected by Courtney Eliseoas a judges pick. One of my favorite designs this year is Red Abstract, which is based from a abstract watercolor composition.
I’m happy to share a recent birth announcement I made for Wolf Finley. The Massars gave me a color palette to start with (mint and neon yellow), and I got to take it from there. We stitched little Wolf flags onto each letterpressed announcement with neon thread and paired them with kraft envelopes. So fun.
I just completed a little custom project for a friend of mine. She wanted me to create a painted letter as a keepsake. She had a letter painted for her when she was a baby, and decided to do the same for her niece. It’s a really lovely idea for a baby gift.
